Women's Retreat 2026

We are excited to host our 2026 women’s retreat this January at the Black Rock Retreat Center in Quarryville, PA! Join your Penn Valley sisters in Christ to worship, study, and learn more about our SOVEREIGN God.

Our sessions will be led by speakers Chris Moyer, Janice Allem, and Leah O’Leary. These ladies have been studying facets of God’s Sovereignty and are looking forward to exploring this challenging topic.

In addition to our speaker sessions, the weekend will include worship time, breakout discussions, workshops, social activities, and free time. 

Details

The retreat is for women ages 16 and older. Teens under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible chaperone. Please feel free to invite a friend from outside Penn Valley Church to attend with you!

At Black Rock, we will stay in the Maranatha Retreat Center, which contains hotel style rooms. Our accommodations, meals, and meeting rooms are entirely within one building with elevator access. 

The rooms have 1 queen and 2 twin beds. We encourage Triple Occupancy to optimize the number of reserved rooms, but Double Occupancy is also available. Quadruple Occupancy is for those who are comfortable sharing a bed. You can request your roommates during the registration process. 

Friday night dinner is NOT included. Please bring a meal or stop to eat along the way. All Saturday meals are included, and Sunday includes breakfast and lunch.

While this is an independent Penn Valley Church retreat, there will be other groups on the property at the same time. The dining hall will be shared with attendees of other events.

Penn Valley is supplementing our retreat costs. The rates below reflect that contribution:

Triple Occupancy: $140 per person (includes Saturday and Sunday meals)

Double Occupancy: $200 per person (includes Saturday and Sunday meals)

Saturday Only: $70 (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
